It was with great enthusiasm that in 1928 the Nellens family entrusted the task of building the casino in Knokke to the young architect Léon Stynen and Stynen made an impact; even
Le Corbusier was impressed. The rest became history. The casino represents the iconic character of Knokke in the 20th century that attracted the "beau monde" with its magnificent villas in the Zwin. Both on and off stage, visitors enjoyed world-class performers. Even the future remains an interesting topic. |
